The Belgian Road Research Centre (BRRC) is a privately operated public utility research institute created in 1952 by application of a decree-law of 1947 aimed at promoting research in industry.

In its over sixty years of existence, it has built a solid reputation at both the national and international levels as an impartial trend-setting centre for research in the areas of road design, construction and maintenance.
