LaMiLo is progressing on schedule

12 August 2014

LaMiLo partner, TU Dortmund University has completed a mid-term evaluation to assess progress across the project.

One of the results of the mid-term evaluation is that the project outputs are expected to be delivered on time by the end of the project. Significant progress has been made on implementing demonstrator projects and sharing national know-how and practical experience on last mile logistics. Communications among the project partners and analysis of stakeholder needs of the project turned out to be essential criteria for efficient and effective work on the topics. In general, the objectives and chosen methodologies still meet the most recent requirements and standards of knowledge.

The data collection and procurement exercises proved to be more time consuming than originally planned. Furthermore, the evaluation gives recommendations for the second half of the project to further enrich the transnational sharing of knowledge and the sustainable effect of the project results. The final evaluation report will be completed at the end of the project.
